May 22, 2004 – Gov. Charles W. Turnbull and Police Commissioner Elton Lewis depart this weekend to attend the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police conference in Trinidad.
The conference will focus on strategies to address youth crime, drug abuse, violence and delinquency.
In accordance with the Revised Organic Act of 1954, as amended, Lt. Gov. Vargrave Richards will assume the duties of acting governor until the governor returns to the Virgin Islands later in the week.
