MBV Office Open; Mail-in, Drop-off Problem Cited

Dear Source,
The claim was made by the Motor Vehicle Bureau director that only about 27 of the first 1,500 drop-offs were acceptable. Mine was totally correct as stated in the Daily News. I submitted the same dollar amount as I was charged on last year's registration and it was returned for an additional $10.
The instructions were the same as last year. Why the additional $10? It just caused a delay in the process and remailing by both sides.
