May 7, 2004 – Workshops for directors/dupervisors interested in participating in the 2004 Summer Food Service Program have been scheduled, according to Elodia Weekly, director of special nutrition programs. The 2004 Summer Feeding Program will be available from June 7 through Aug. 13, in the St. Thomas St. John District and June 21 through Aug. 13, in the St Croix District.
The workshop schedules are as follows:
• Thursday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the DOE Curriculum Center, Estate Tutu, St. Thomas
• Friday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at the DOE Curriculum Center, Kingshill, St. Croix.
All site directors/supervisors interested in participating in the program must attend these workshops prior to approval of their applications.
Interested persons are asked to pick up applications from their respective district school lunch program offices or special nutrition offices. For information call 774-8070 or 774-9373 on St. Thomas, or 773-7080 on St. Croix.
