PAMELA RICHARDS SHOULD STEP DOWN

Dear Source:
As a past hotel manager for one of the smaller hotels on St. Croix I have kept up with the local news and interests of the islands through the Source. I read the passage by Nina York, an old friend of mine, about Pamela Richards and I see unfortunately that things and opinions have gotten worse.
I was a long term resident of St. Croix and watched as things got worse and when an opportunity came to leave, I took it. Four years ago the hoteliers and retail owners were unhappy with the service received from the Department
of Tourism. Nothing will change and yes I believe that it will get worse if that is to be believed, if the people do not vote in a new Governor and voice their opinion on the present administration.
Pam Richards is very intellegent as I have had conversations with her but I do not think that she was prepared for this roll and she has not got the personallity for it either. The most professional act she can do at this time is to step down and admit defeat in this arena.
I wish nothing but the best for her and for the island I called home for over 32 years.

Past general Manager of the King Christian
Hotel
Resident of Wilmington, Delaware
