NEW DEADLINE, HEARINGS SET FOR BLOCK GRANTS

March 14, 2004 – A new deadline has been set for project proposals to be considered for Community Development Block Grant Funds, and public hearings to follow have also been scheduled.
The deadline is Friday, March 19, according to a release from V.I. Planning and Natural Resources Department.
The schedule of hearings on the projects:
— St. Croix: Thursday, April 1, 10 a.m. at the District Court, Christiansted
— St. John: Tuesday, April 6, 6 p.m. in the Legislative chambers
— St. Thomas: Wednesday, April 7, 3 p.m. at the UVI Sports and Fitness Center, second floor, East Mezzanine.
