CORAL BAY BOATERS CALLED TO MONDAY MEETING

March 11, 2004 – Coral Bay boaters are asked to attend a Planning and Natural Resources Department meeting on Monday at the Emmaus Moravian Church fellowship hall. It begins at 6:30 p.m.
Lucia Francis, enforcement director at DPNR, said that Coral Harbor is the only spot designated as a legal mooring area.
"Some of the people have relocated to Johnson Bay," she said, noting that it is not a designated mooring area. Those people will have to move.
She also noted that there had been a problem at Sanders Gut.
Francis also intends to address the issue of holding tanks. She said that every boat should have one by now.
And lastly, she will ask for people to serve on the Coral Bay ad hoc boating committee. Each bay on St. John has its own committee.
