VIEWING, SERVICES SET FOR CALVIN WHEATLEY

March 3, 2004 – Viewing will be Friday evening at John Thomas Funeral Home and Saturday morning at Christ Church Methodist for Calvin H. Wheatley, with funeral services to follow Saturday at the church.
Wheatley, retired administrator and public relations officer of The West Indian Co., died Feb. 29 at Roy L. Schneider Hospital. (See "Calvin H. Wheatley dead at 80".)
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Genevieve Wheatley; sons Dr. Clayton Wheatley and Maurice Wheatley; daughters Luana Wheatley and Roxanne Wright; stepson Marvin Wells; stepdaughter Beverly Harris; brothers Andres, Charles, Henry and Reuben Wheatley; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. Saturday at the church in Rothschild Francis "Market" Square. The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Western Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Boy Scouts of America, P.O. Box 7173, St. Thomas, V.I. 00801.
