Feb. 23, 2004 — The STX 340 Cycling Club and The Spicy Grill hosted the V.I. Cycling Federations annual two-person time trial at the airport. Under nearly perfect conditions, ten teams finished the race. The expert category of 12 miles was won by Raymond Brown and Dick Isherwood in 33:45 minutes, with the top three teams coming within 57 seconds of each other. The sport class of 6 miles was won by Jennifer McPherrin and Andy Turner in 22:38 minutes.
