KREWE DE CROIX THANKS ONE AND ALL

Dear Source,
The Krewe de Croix wishes to express their ultimate thanks to everyone who believed in us. We especially thank the Gentlemen of Jones (those guys always come through for STX – please remember them on your Christmas/ Kwaanza lists) and Stanley & The Ten Sleepless Nights. (Stanley, we know the feeling! Ain't no sleep to be had some days.)
STX loves its real heroes, and true to form they showed their stuff this Saturday. Some but not all of our benefactors include the awesome musicians (Dave Gerard's Groove Thang always finds time and money to get themselves down here from New Hampshire to play for us and for that we are extremely fortunate! These guys are smokin'.)
The event was largely a result of the efforts of some very hard workers, and a few but not all of those are Lia, Dominique, Deb, Ron, Sarah, Suzanne & Hal, Peter(s), Kenny, Irish Mary, Robert(s), Mr. Desmond Trim, Gayle, Chuck, Millie, Annie (& the Pleasant's lovely staff who have been so very accommodating to the Krewe,) Lenny & Val, the VIPD, Vitalina – you all know who you are. The K de C certainly does! Cane Bay Beach Bar and Off The Wall were very generous as well. Lots of international media coverage, too.
Our thank you list is long, and will be published under separate cover as soon as we can round up some funds. This is just a patch job to thank our immediate supporters and believers. Mardi Croix 2005 will be huge. Jump on the bus, Gus. If Vitran isn't running, well, jump on the ferry, Jerry. Get a new plan, Stan.
Just put it on your calendar! Mardi Croix 2005 will be on Feb 5, so we are personally placing the Krewe's order on this Monday. Anyone wishing to do the same can either call me (277-8682) or order directly through Cane Bay Dive Shop. Of course K de C members purchase at less than wholesale.
Huge halos & thank you's to everyone today. Make hay while the sun shines, as Wednesday is the first of 40 days of Lent.
