BELLA BLU HOSTING BUSINESS AFTER HOURS

Feb. 10, 2004 – The St. Thomas restaurant formerly known as Alexander's Café — and now Alexander's Bella Blu — will host the next St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event, on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Frenchtown café was transformed last fall from a traditional dining room with white tablecloths to a hip, nouveau, upbeat eatery devoted to cuisine with a distinctly Mediterranean bent.
"Cool surroundings and hip people are the order of the day," a flyer announcing the chamber event says.
Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, door prizes and the chamber's "famous $2 bar" will be the order of the evening. Look for the new blue awning and the outdoor tables as you enter Frenchtown.
