PARK'S BAY ECOSYSTEMS WORKSHOP

Explore the Ecosystems of Lameshur and Europa Bays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Jan. 31. Botanist and plant ecologist Gary Ray explores the native plants and wildlife from the Lameshur mangroves to the Europa Bay coastline. Finish the day with lunch at the V.I. Environmental Resource Station. Meet at Lameshur Bay Beach. Carpooling from Cruz Bay can be arranged. Bring binoculars if you have them, water, sunscreen, and bug repellent. The maximum group size is 20. The fee, which includes lunch, is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. Children under 12 pay half price. Call 779-4940 to sign up.
