AID WORKSHOP SET FOR RISING STARS MEMBERS

Jan. 11, 2004 — The V.I. Board of Education will conduct a financial aid workshop for members of the Rising Stars Steel Orchestra at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Rising Stars pan yard in Barbel Plaza.
The board encourages members as well as parents to attend and gain information to assist them financially in meeting their educational goals.
The workshop is a part of the board's public education program, and it addresses financial assistance available to V.I. students and public employees, a release said.
The board may be contacted with requests to conduct similar workshops.
