DEC. 19 NEW DATE TO APPLY FOR PRINCE AND PRINCESS

Dec. 12, 2003 — The V.I. Carnival Committee is extending the deadline for interested personnel to return their application for participation in the 2004 Prince & Princess competition to Dec. 19.
Francisque Roberts, chairman of the prince and princess subcommittee is putting out a challenge to all St. Thomas elementary schools. "School spirit plays a major role in motivating the children in every aspect of their involvement with the show," Roberts said. "Every school should be proud to have their students display their talents and carry the title of 'Prince & Princess of Virgin Islands Carnival.'"
