Nov. 11, 2003 — Sterling Promotions Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada has announced that tickets for the Dec. 5 "Rumble in Paradise" went on sale Friday on-line. They will be available at local ticket outlets Wednesday.
Rumble in Paradise will feature fighters Lawrence Clay-Bey (19-2) vs. Samuel Peter (16-0) along with Carlos "El Indio" Quintana (14-0) vs. David Estrada (15-1) and former Middleweight Champion Julian Jackson's brother David Rogers. Local favorite Didiea Hughes will be featured in one of the four other matches. The event will be held at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports & Fitness Center. Doors open that night at 8 p.m. Arrive early and get a chance to chat with Sugar Ray Leonard. Tickets became available on-line Friday at www.stelingboxing.com through www.unlvtickets.com or @ 866-388-3267 but will be available locally beginning Wednesday, Nov 12 at the following locations:
