Nov. 4, 2003 – Jacqueline Rogers, president of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School's Parent-Teacher Association, has announced the school's general PTA meeting schedule along with a school initiative designed to encourage parental involvement in the life of the school.
PTA meetings will be held at 6 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month except December, when the meeting will be held on the 15th , and April, when the meeting will be held on the 19th.
"Attendance at the meetings is strongly encouraged as there will be discussions relative to fund-raising for various school projects and the scholarship fund," Rogers stated in a release, adding that in order to foster more support from parents and guardians the PTA plans "to have guest speakers at each meeting and…parents and school stakeholders are encouraged to voice their interests and efforts will be made to accommodate their requests."
