SERVICES FOR ALGO EDMUND DUPIGNEY ARE FRIDAY

Oct. 28, 2003 – Algo Edmund Dupigney, better known as "Son", died on Oct. 21 in his residence at 394A-33 Anna's Retreat at the age of 76.
Dupigney was a native of St. Kitts who moved first to Antigua and then, in 1964, to St. Thomas where he spend the first part of his career working at Mike's Paint Store. Finding that the trade suited him, he worked for a time as a painting contractor at Caneel Bay on St. John, eventually becoming an employee there.
The last 14 years of his professional career were spent at Sapphire Beach Resort where he was employed by the security department until the time of his death.
Dupigney is survived by his ex-wife, Sylvania Dupigney; one son, Anthony Walters, of Nevis; three daughters, Dwayna Dupigney Derrick of Antigua, Leona Francis and Claudette Daniel; two sisters, Sylmia Dupigney and Vannia dupigney, of Dominica, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends too numerous to name.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct 29, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Viewings will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, also at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel.
