CAPE AIR ADDING FLIGHTS, ONEPASS BONUS MILES

Oct. 20, 2003 – Cape Air announced on Monday that it will be expanding its service between Puerto Rico and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands to more than 50 round trip fights a day and that it has a new code-share partnership with Continental Airlines in the Caribbean.
With the code-share agreement, Continental passengers flying to San Juan also will receive Continental OnePass frequent flyer miles if they continue on Cape Air code-share flights to St. Thomas, St. Croix, Tortola or Ponce. And through Dec. 20, they will receive double miles for those flights.
"To launch the season in style, we are tripling our departures to the Virgin Islands from San Juan," Cape Air's president, Dan Wolf, said.
"Our partnership with Continental Airlines has served both companies very well, and we are happy to extend the double miles benefit on to our passengers. In addition, the expanded schedule will result in greater connection opportunities for Continental passengers," Wolf said.
Cape Air, an employee-owned company, began in 1989 with service between Boston and Provincetown, Massachusetts. It expanded to Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Hyannis and New Bedford, Massachusetts; to Rhode Island and southern Florida, and to Puerto Rico and the U.S. and British Virgins.
