HELP WELCOMED AT BETHLEHEM FACTORY CLEANUP

Oct. 19, 2003 — On Saturday, Oct. 25, the St. Croix Farmers In Action will host its bi-weekly cleanup of the historic Bethlehem Sugar Factory site in Estate Bethlehem.
St. Croix Farmers in Action invites the entire St. Croix community to come out and help bring this important historical site back from the bush and prepare to make it available as an interpreted historical site for the community and visitors to the island, according to a release.
Volunteers arrive on the site at 8 a.m. and work until noon. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, machetes, chain saw (if you own one), and a lunch. Farmers In Action will provide water, drinks and hand tools for those who don't bring them.
For more information call Kelly at 778-4266, Percival at 772-5907, or Kendall at 771-0615.
