WAPA CREWS TO BE TREE-TRIMMING ON ANNALY ROAD

Oct. 17, 2003 – The Water and Power Authority will be trimming trees along Annaly Road in Frederiksted on Saturday to keep the branches free of overhead electric power lines.
A WAPA release asked that motorists traveling along the road between the Grove Place crusher and Paul E. Joseph Stadium exercise caution while crews are at work.
The work will take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., the release stated, and "will reduce the probability of line outages and improve reliability" of service to the Frederiksted area.
