ST. CROIX ROTARY MARKS VOCATIONAL MONTH

Oct. 16, 2003 — Here's the schedule of activities of the Rotary Club of St. Croix for October, when it's celebrating Vocational Service Month.
Meetings of Rotary Club of St. Croix are every Thursday at 12 noon at Gertrude's Restaurant in Castle Coakley.
Thursday, Oct. 16 Dean Plaskett, commissioner of the Planning and Natural Resources Department, is luncheon speaker. There will also be vocational presentations by members.
Thursday, Oct. 23 Rotary Club will present a St. Croix Vocational Service Awards to Maria Thomas-Lewis, Arthur A. Richards Junior High School teacher and founder of Future Business Leaders of America chapter and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Iota Sigma Lambda Chapter.
Saturday, Oct. 25 45th Anniversary and Paul Harris Fellow Dinner at Cormorant Beach Club.
Wednesday, Oct. 29 Jobs Skills Seminar, a joint project of Rotary St. Croix and Rotary St. Croix West, at Sunshine Mall.
Thursday, Oct. 30 Judge Eileen Peterson, chairman of the Casino Control
Commission, will be luncheon speaker.
