HOVENSA PEOPLE TO SHOW OFF TALENTS

Oct. 16, 2003 — Hovensa's employee planning and outreach committee going to show off the talents of some of Hovensa's employees, contractors and families when "Showtime at the Center" is presented from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Island Center for the Performing Arts.
The talent show is a benefit for Catholic Charities of the V.I., the St. Croix Deaf Coalition and Lutheran Social Services, which sponsors among its activities My Brother's Table.
The audience will get to see and hear dancers, singers, skit actors, monologists, comedians, musicians, and more, in some 20 acts. It's a great good time for both adults and children.
Tickets are available at Pancho's, Education Central, the Hovensa Mart, and Hovensa personnel Brenda Aloyzo at 692-3141 and Manuel Vureta at 692-7580. The advance $5 entrance cost includes a raffle ticket for prizes including a computer, gift certificates for jewelry, round-trip airline tickets, and dinners for two at selected restaurants. Since all expenses and prizes have been donated, the entire gate will go to the charities.
The show is sponsored by Hovensa, Top Models, Pancho's and Education Central.
