Oct. 14, 2003 – Services will be held on Thursday for Eirene Canegata McDonald, who died on Oct. 10 at home. She was 83.
Viewing will be Thursday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. at All Saints Cathedral. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Church of the Holy Spirit.
"Ms. Mac," as she was known, is survived by her husband, Dr. Sylvester O. McDonald; two sons, John and Michael McDonald; two daughters, Genevieve Lambert and Judith Richardson; two brothers, j. Cedric Canegata and David Canegata Jr.; two sisters, Claire Motta and Melba Biggs; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
