Oct. 14, 2003 – The St. Thomas-St. John Arts Council in collaboration with the Tourism Department is hosting a workshop and showcase of the "Best of St. Thomas and St. John" in packaged foods and crafts on Nov. 1 at Tutu Park Mall on St. Thomas.
"In the morning, we will have an entrepreneur workshop," Cheryl Miller, council president, said in a release. "Then we will present the awards for Best Packaged Food and open the Showcase of Crafts to compete for the Best of the V.I.," to be announced at the end of the day.
Miller said the workshop will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and the awards presentation will begin at 1 p.m. She said prospective participants should call the Tourism Department at 774-8784, ext. 2226, for registration in formation and the rules and regulations of the competitions.
