WAPA TO SPONSOR EMPLOYEE, PUBLIC BLOOD DRIVES

Oct. 10, 2003 — The V.I. Water and Power Authority is sponsoring two October blood drives on St. Croix on behalf of the Juan F. Luis Hospital Blood Bank.
The events will be held on Oct. 15 at the Richmond Plant and on Oct. 16 at the Sunny Isle office. The public is encouraged to join WAPA employees in 'giving the gift of life' by donating blood between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, when the Bloodmobile will be set up in the parking lot next to the WAPA Customer Services Building, according to a release.
