UVI-CPD OFFERS BUSINESS WRITING COURSES

Oct. 10, 2003 – The University of the Virgin Island's Community and Personal Development Unit will be offering two new classes this November designed to help St. Croix business professionals enhance their writing skills.
The CPD unit has developed the two classes in order to satisfy a range of needs potential students might have.
Those wishing to develop basic letter and report writing skills can sign up for "Essentials of Business Writing"which will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., Nov. 6 and 7, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Nov. 8.
Professionals who already possess these basic skills and wish to develop their writing further can take "Sharpening Your Writing Edge" from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.
Both classes will be taught by an experienced writer and editor and will be kept small to ensure that each student receives individual attention.
Classes are $150 each, however, a student enrolling in both classes will receive a $25 discount.
To reserve a place in one or both of these classes call UVI's CPD unit at 693-1100, or send an e-mail to dpeters@uvi.edu.
