LEAGUE TO HOST CHAMBER FOR 'AFTER HOURS'

Oct. 7, 2003 – This Thursday's Business After Hours get-together sponsored by the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce will be hosted by the League of Women Voters of the Virgin Islands. It will take place on the ground floor of the Guardian Building in Havensight.
The local League of Women Voters is celebrating its 35th anniversary, and members will be ready, willing and able to talk with other attendees about the organization's programs and opportunities for involvement. Men are welcome as members, by the way!
Business After Hours, which takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., is a social occasion to unwind after the workday but also a casual opportunity for networking. Those taking part are encouraged to bring their business cards.
The event is open to members, friends and prospective members of the chamber and the league. As is customary as Business After Hours, there will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres, door prizes and the chamber's popular $2 bar. There'll be a 50-50 raffle on Thursday, too.
For more information, call the chamber office at 776-0100.
