EDUCATION CLINIC SATURDAY TO GIVE OUT SUPPLIES

Sept. 25, 2003 — Ah, the weekends – two whole days students and parents don't have to think about school. But on St. Croix this Saturday, residents would be wise to give a thought to school: Sen. Norman Jn Baptiste's Education Clinic, with free school supplies, starting at 1 p.m. at the Sunshine Mall.
There'll be displays from community groups, including the Dental Association, U.S. Customs, Fire Prevention units, Women's Coalition, Highway Safety, D.A.R.E., among others.
The event is sponsored by Sen. Jn Baptiste, "other Senators," V.I. Human Services Department, and the Youth Promotion and Delinquency Prevention Program, according to a release.
