M. DAVID EATON DEAD AT 38

May 7, 2003 – M. David Eaton died Sunday in his home in Carat Bay. He was 38. Eaton was an avid film and video editor. At the time of his death he was working for Film V.I. dot net, owned by Todd Hecht.
Hecht described Eaton as completely "selfless." Though Hecht had known Eaton for several years he began working with Eaton when Hecht purchased the business from Joanne Newhart. In fact, Hecht said, "I bought the business because of David."
Hecht said Eaton loved what he was doing and was "excellent" at it. "He loved his job."
Eaton had suffered from heart problems for several years.
He is survived by his mother Ann Eaton, sister Robin and two children Christopher Ryan and Jessica Ann.
A funeral mass will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church.
