CARNIVAL MILE TO BE HELD SATURDAY, 7:30 A.M.

April 27, 2003 – Warm up for the Adult Parade at the 21st annual Carnival Mile on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
The run – from Western Cemetery to Roosevelt Park, opposite the entrance to Carnival Village – is open to all runners, joggers and walkers.
STAR will host the run, which is sponsored again this year by Seaborne Airlines. Proceeds of the event will be donated to the St. Thomas-St. John Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Pre-register at Players in Havensight Mall and Going Seanile in Royal
Dane Mall. Or register in Carnival Village during the week.
The entry fee is $10 for adults and $5 for participants under
18.
The first 150 registrants will receive a free Carnival Mile T-Shirt.
Awards will be given to the overall winners and the top three finishers in each of six male/female categories: 21 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over.
Late registration will be held on the race day at Western Cemetery from 6:30–7 p.m.; however.
