April 21, 2003 The Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands is gearing up for its summer internship program, and thanks to the success of the recent annual auction five paid internships will be available to graduating high school seniors and college students from the Virgin Islands.
The program is designed to help students gain hands-on experience in a professional environment and to provide Ad Club members with motivated students who are interested in the fields of advertising, graphic design, radio and television, printing, public relations, publishing and marketing.
The program begins in mid-June, but the deadline for applications is May 19. Interested students should call 775-1555 ext. 246 or 249, or send an e-mail to marketing@coralworldvi.com, for more information.
Members of the Ad Club of the Virgin Islands represent ad agencies, public relations firms, marketing agencies, publishing and broadcasting media, graphic artists, Web site designers and companies of all kinds that employ communications specialists.
