WAPA OFFICES OBSERVE HOLIDAYS WITH CLOSURES

April 17, 2003 – The V.I. Water and Power Authority's customer services offices will be closed Thursday, Friday and Monday, April 17, 18 and 21 in observance of Holy Week. The offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix will open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon; the St. John office will remain closed on Saturday.
Potable water standpipes will be closed in both districts on Good Friday and Easter Monday. On Saturday, the St. Thomas standpipe will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., the St. John standpipe will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the St. Croix standpipe will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Customers are advised to pay utility bills at Banco Popular, V.I. Community Bank or First Bank, or to pay with checks or money orders in the payment drop boxes at all customer service locations.
For emergency assistance while the offices are closed, call 773-2250 or 773-0150 on St. Croix, or call 774-1424 in the St. Thomas-St. John district.
