Dec. 31, 2002 – The V.I. Pace Runners has announced events coming up this week for runners.
The 2nd St. Croix International Marathon will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 1, at 5 a.m. The race starts and finishes on Salt River Road near the entrance to Columbus Cove Restaurant.
The annual Children Race will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. The 800-meter race starts near Jiffy Mart on King St. and finishes at the Scale House in Christiansted. Registration begins at 10 a.m. The race is open to boys and girls 13 years old and younger5.
The annual Three Kings Mile road race will taken place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4. The race starts at Harwood Hospital and finishes at the Scale House in Christiansted. The race is open to all. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
