CORAL WORLD OFFERS V.I. RATES FOR LOCALS' GUESTS

Dec. 11, 2002 – Coral World is offering a special enticement for local residents who'll be hosting off-island visitors for the yearend holidays.
From now through Jan. 1, when residents and their guests visit the St. Thomas marine park together, the cost of admission for the visitors will be the local rates — $8 for those 13 and older and $4 for children 3-12.
The regular off-island rates are $18 for general admission and $9 for children 3-12. All youngsters under age 3 are admitted free.
V.I. residents will need to show proof of residency in the form of driver's license, voter registration card or utility bill, along with a picture I.D.
Coral World is open every day, including Christmas Day and New Year's Day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ticket booth closes at 4 p.m. Gift certificates and annual memberships are available.
