A gubernatorial forum sponsored by Rotary I, Rotary II, St. John and Inner Wheel is set for Oct. 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mark Marin Center, Antilles School. Organizers hopefully note that the center can hold 1,600 people.
Radio One is covering the event live, and organizers have received confirmation from six of the candidates.
The format will vary from other forums that have been held, said a release. Organizers will contact several community groups with strong backgrounds on key issues and invite them to submit questions in advance. A final selection of questions will be made and presented to the candidates by moderator Jamilla Harris.
