'EARTHQUAKES IN PARADISE'

The public is invited to attend a free, illustrated presentation on seismicity in the Virgin Islands and movement of the Caribbean plate, entitled, "Earthquakes in Paradise," at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, in Chase Auditorium on the St. Thomas campus of the University of the Virgin Islands.
The presentation will be linked via teleconference to Room 401 of the Melvin Evans Center on UVI’s St. Croix campus.
Presenters will be Christa von Hillebrandt-Andrade of the Puerto Rico Seismic Network; VITEMA director Harold Baker; and UVI's Chancellor and physics professor Roy A. Watlington. A question and answer period will follow the presentations.
Chase auditorium is in the Business Building, Room 110 (lower floor).
