BAJO EL SOL GALLERY HAS GROUP SHOW FOR JUNE

June 3, 2002 – The June exhibition opening Friday at Bajo el Sol Gallery in Mongoose Junction with a wine and cheese reception will showcase the most recent works by the local artists the gallery represents.
The show comprises oils and hand-pulled prints by Les Anderson, collages and oils by Aimee Trayser, watercolors and oils by Kat Sowa, oils and mixed-media works by Deborah St. Clair, oils and pastels by Kimberly Boulon and Pat Whitehead, photography by Steve Simonsen and Constance Wallace, jewelry by Michael Banzhaf and Kim Holland, and clay works by Gail Van de Bogurt and Mark Hansen.
Most of the artists will be on hand to talk about their work at the reception, which is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. The public is invited. The show will hang through the end of the month. Regular summer hours at the gallery are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
