BOSCHULTE SCHOOL CLOSED MONDAY FOR STUDENTS

Dec. 15, 2001 – Carver Farrow, principal of the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School, announced there will be no school for students Monday.
A professional day is scheduled for faculty and staff. The professional day will provide teachers, faculty and staff with training on Inclusion Practices and the Indiiduals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) law as it relates to students.
The IDEA law was passed and signed into law by the U.S. President in 1997. It "refined the basics and added new discipline provisions," according to the Internet site LD Online, and outlines new programs and responsibilities for special education students.
Regular classes will resume on Tuesday, according to a Friday release from the V.I. Department of Education.
