Nov. 15, 2001 – A Trinidad Benefit Calypso Show will take place at the Westin St. John, with proceeds going to fund travel for Love City Pan Dragons and Baby Dragons youth steel orchestras band members to Trinidad Carnival 2002.
Irvin "Brownie" Brown will host, and there'll be lots of music – calypsonians and bands.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, $8 for children under 12. Tickets are available from any Pan Dragon parent; at Connections, Courtesy Car Rental, Mooie's Bar and St. John Drug Center in Cruz Bay; and Percy's Bus Stop and International Records and Tapes in St. Thomas.
Shuttle service from the ferry to the Westin will be provided.
