AD CLUB FOCUSES ON LEGAL ISSUES IN BUSINESS

Nov. 12, 2001 — The St. Croix chapter of the Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands will present attorney Linda Baxter discussing how to protect your business with trusts and business planning at 12 noon, Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Hibiscus Beach conference room.
A few of the items Baxter will discuss are:
• Protecting your business from Probate Court proceedings.
• Using charitable giving to save taxes.
• Keeping your partner’s family from making your life miserable.
• Buy-sell or cross purchase agreements.
• Getting fair market value for your business for your family.
• Perils of joint ownership.
• New tax law changes.
Reservations are required and should made by calling 773-1435 by 12 noon Tuesday, Nov. 13
The charge is $22 for members, $27 for non-members.
