NO SPRAUVE K-5TH GRADE CLASSES TUESDAY

Nov. 5, 2001 – Tuesday classes for kindergarten through fifth grade at Julius E. Sprauve School have been canceled due to a severe plumbing problem affecting the building where those classes are held.
Juel M. Anderson, Education Department public relations director, said late Monday night the problem was with the public septic system.
Students were dismissed early Monday as a result, according to a release from Education.
Because the problem could not be fixed Monday, Sprauve principal Shirley Joseph said , Tuesday classes for those grades were called off.
All teachers, including those teaching kindergarten through fifth grades, and students in grades six through nine are to report to school as usual.
