19th ANNUAL GATORADE CARNIVAL MILE

The St. Thomas Association of Roadrunners will the host the 19th Annual Gatorade Carnival Mile at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28. The run begins at Western Cemetery and proceeds east on Main Street to Roosevelt Park opposite the Carnival Village.
The run is open to runner, joggers, and walkers of all the ages. All proceeds go to the St. Thomas-St. John Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Race day will open with late registration from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. All participants must pick up their race numbers by 7:15 a.m with the race starting promptly at 7:30 a.m.
An awards ceremony and t-shirt pick-up will follow the finish in the park. Awards will be given to the overall winners and the top three finishers in each of the six male and female age groups.
Participants can register early at Players in Havensight, Going Senile at Royal Dane Mall, or in the Carnival Village in the evenings. Entry fees are $10 for adults, $5 for youths under 18, and $8 for STAR members.
Free t-shirts will be given to the first 150 people to register.
