April 13, 2001 – If you think Coral World is just for fish, think again. On Easter Sunday, April 15, the marine park will be hopping with bunnies and a flock of performing birds for the 3rd annual Easter Party for children. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. with bunny makeovers by Coral World face painting artists. Next is a bunny hop contest, followed by a spoon and egg race, and a game of pin the tail on the bunny. Plenty of prizes will be given away. At 3 p.m. visitors will be treated to a show by Sammy (the star of the AT&T commercials) and his team of talented birds who will ride scooters, roller skate, play basketball, and pose for photos. All marine exhibits will be open until 5 p.m. At the end of the day, every bunny will hop away with a mini Easter basket filled with candy.
