BROKEN SALTWATER LINE REPAIRED BY PWD

A broken saltwater line on St. Croix has been repaired and the system is back up, according to a statement from Public Works Acting Commissioner Wayne Callwood.
Callwood also reminded the public that the saltwater system will be discontinued on July 31, and potable water will be available through the V.I. Water and Power Authority.
"Anyone who is affected by this change is urged to seek other arrangements for continuing saltwater or potable water service," Callwood said.
