The V.I. Water and Power Authority has scheduled a water interruption from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday for the section of Long Bay from the Lucinda Millin Home for the Elderly to the West Indian Co. Ltd.
The interruption will affect WICO, the Yacht Haven complex, Wendy's restaurant and the Department of Public Works pump station. DPW contractor Tiptop Construction requested the shutoff to install an 8-inch storm drain valve. The work is part of the Public Works Federal High Flood Control project.
