A unidentified man was shot several times in the arm and upper leg in the Savan area Tuesday evening. The man was reported to be in stable condition at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital late Tuesday night.
Police units responded to the 6:30 p.m. shooting that was reported near the Jewish Cemetery. One person was taken into custody for questioning, but it was not known whether that person was a suspect or a witness to the shooting.
