TOURISM WEB SITE: CORRUPTION IN CYBERSPACE?

Dear Source:
I did not view tourism site myself but from the information I saw in the article complaining about the cost I would say that this is about the worst case of corruption yet in St. Thomas. I know for a fact that you can build a server to host the site for less than $10,000 easily; in fact if you used the whole amount you would have a system that would blow away most in existence.
On the subject of building the site, I have a friend who builds professional sites for a living, and if you told him you would pay him $10,000 to build a site he would cook you dinner and more for that amount. There needs to be an investigation into the spending into this Web site because by no means do the numbers come vaguely close to the amount proposed and to let this go would be to condone corruption.
