Enjoy the cabaret setting and entertainment when vocalist Rebecca Parris and pianist Paul McWilliams perform at 8 p.m. Friday, April 6 at Tillett Gardens.
The cabaret will include jazz, show tunes, and standards.
Rebecca Parris, known for her smooth and passionate vocals seems to get rave reviews wherever she performs. Her career has included performing as a jazz soloist for the last ten years, singing in orchestra ensembles and on stage with jazz greats like Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, and Dizzy Gillespie.
"Jazztimes" writer Fred Bouchard wrote about Parris, "She sings with power, conviction, originality, total believability. She is that rare bird: the true jazz singer with the soul of an entertainer."
