John "Carty/Tall Boy" Theophilus Patrick of Sunny Isle Housing Community died Sunday, Oct. 15 at Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 71.
A viewing will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Kingshill Cemetery.
Mr. Patrick is survived by his wife, Mazie Christian Patrick; daughters, Elise and Dornell Patrick; son, John Patrick Jr.; seven grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and special cousin, Winston Benjamin.
He is also survived by cousins, Aldene Glasco and family, Ashfield and family, Leebert and family, Elaine and family, Fancier and family, Lenroy and family; close friends, Agatha Phillips and family, Cecil Smith and family, Toye Willock and family, Ivan Samuel and family; numerous friends and relatives, along with the men at the corner of Market and Company Street at the taxi stand in St. Croix.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
