The Scholastic Aptitude Test scheduled for Oct. 14 and the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test set for Oct. 17 will be administered as planned.
A V.I. Department of Education official said the test is not administered by the department and shouldnt be affected by the current American Federation of Teachers strike. Jeanette Smith, principal of Charlotte Amalie High School, said that all juniors who have already signed up to take the PSAT should be at the CAHS auditorium at 8 a.m. on Oct. 17.
Students taking the PSAT must be seated in the auditorium by 8 a.m. in full school uniform with two number-2 pencils and a scientific calculator.
There will be no opportunity to register for the PSAT on the day of the test.
