SHOOTOUT LANDS 2 IN CUSTODY

Two persons are in police custody after a shootout in Sugar Estate Monday night, according to well placed law enforcement sources.
Police investigators, responding to the reports of shots fired on Sixth Street, Sugar Estate, are said to have arrested the two persons involved in the shootout which left at least one vehicle bullet riddled.
The shooting was reportedly the result of a drug deal gone awry.
St. Thomas police have not commented on the shootout or identified the suspects said to have been charged Monday night.
Anyone with information should call police at 774-4050 or the emergency number 911.
